Much of the existing data at facilities is already going unused by subject matter experts (SMEs). In addition, this problem will compound as data generation continues to vastly outpace data consumption. If our aspiration is that SMEs use data to create tailored insights, breaking down data silos will not be enough. Integrated data must be accessible and understandable by your subject matter experts to identify bottlenecks, predict poor asset performance, hasten root cause analysis, and more.
Industrial data operations (DataOps) equip SMEs to perform analyses in minutes instead of hours by turning disparate data into information. To achieve this productivity step change, relationships must be established between data sources through the process of data contextualization. Once the relationships are known, data can become explorable in domain-specific language (“Pump 202” vs “SES-PMP-X02”), and available in no-code applications your SMEs already know to deliver more business value.
In this session we will cover:
MSc in Chemical Engineering and MSc in Innovation Leadership. Most relevant working experience is Project and Licensing Manager for specialty chemical companies where I was in charge of the contracting, engineering, construction and commissioning of chemical plants. I also have experience as Sales Manager in the Food & Beverage and Energy Sector.
The Pop in Your Job:
I´m helping people every single day and I really like that.
I am a very curious and social person who really enjoys fixing problems (or simply improving processes). I used to be the hands-on manager selling, designing, building and commissioning chemical plants and manufacturing lines with my team, but now I am on the other side of the table helping companies remove the complexity of their underlying IT/OT/ET source systems and deploying meaningful and scalable use cases.
