Less Details

Digitization is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry, especially through the use of Digital Twins and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). This presentation explores the challenges and benefits of integrating Digital Twins along the V-model and demonstrates how these technologies, combined with DevOps practices (CI/CD/CT), can accelerate and optimize system development. A case study on the development and validation of power electronics will illustrate the practical application and achieved benefits.

  • Digital Twins and MBSE – Introduction and significance in vehicle and system development.
  • Challenges – Efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly development of systems and their Digital Twins.
  • Goals – Cost reduction, accelerated market entry, sustainability, and agility through CI/CD of Digital Twins.
  • Case Study – Development and validation of power electronics as a practical example.
