Platforms are gaining importance and are accelerating the development of the market. More specifically, platforms help each individual stakeholder to act simpler, faster, better and, above all, in a more targeted manner. All future scenarios of our time (sustainability, climate neutrality, individualization and optimization of value chains, track & trace, etc.) cannot be implemented without digital platforms. Mostly across manufacturer boundaries and stages of supply chains.
Business models for B2B platforms, such as the one of ADAMOS, are therefore increasingly emerging in the industry. With a marketplace, ADAMOS acts both as a matchmaker and as a provider of IIoT platform-independent integration technology, thus bringing supply and demand together. For providers of industrial software, B2B platforms increase transparency and speed transactions of products, services and data. For users of industrial solutions, platforms lead to a qualitatively better and broader offer (e.g. through standardized integration, bundling of offers or simply through more transparency). The ADAMOS platform enables scalability, harmonizes interfaces and thus opens up additional value creation potential for both sides in many cases.
More specifically, with the ADAMOS STORE we offer companies an overarching customer interface for the sales and procurement of cloud-based software offerings and the implementation of data-driven business models. With the ADAMOS HUB as an integrating foundation, solution providers will be able to make their solutions available conveniently, end-to-end and with comprehensive data security. The ADAMOS HUB enables both basic data to be used across applications and data to be exchanged between applications and services. The connection to the ecosystem via the ADAMOS HUB thus provides an application with increased benefits and future security. Users benefit from pre-integration with a level of consistency never before seen in this heterogeneous environment.
Since its foundation in 2017, Dr. Marco Link, who holds a doctorate in business information technology, has been managing director of the IoT joint venture ADAMOS GmbH. With his focus on IT and innovation, he previously played a key role at Software AG in establishing strategic IoT partnerships with well-known companies such as DÜRR AG. He combines his industry expertise with know-how in digitization, paving the way for transformation in mechanical engineering.
The Pop in Your Job:
„With ADAMOS, we are creating something in the industrial sector that has never existed before. We are developing a solution that will be an accelerator into the future for many companies and thus positively change a traditional industry. To experience the momentum and to define how something like this can succeed from a team with small ideas is unique. Of course, it takes a lot of perseverance, a lot of knowledge and a lot of obstacles, but it ends in a new world.“
