Henning Heine has a background as mechanical engineer and worked more than 7 years in the manufacturing industry, right on the shop floor, bridging the IT/OT gap. He developed custom software for Smart Factory applications and connected machines and processes through the automation stack from PLC to ERP and Cloud. While driving Smart Factory initiatives he focusses on the close exchange with the users on the shop floor, to incorporate their input in new applications and increase the acceptance of new tools. Henning is specialized in the use of Low-Code Tools in production and their integration in the overall IIoT-Infrastructure. At MaibornWolff GmbH he supports customers on their Digital Transformation Journey building their Smart Factories.
