Jameel Istaitih is Head of industry 4.0 at Strauss Group. As Mechanical Engineer and Innovator, he is responsible for the industry 4.0 (Smart / advanced manufacturing) strategy of the Strauss Group. Istaitih Has joined Strauss Group in 2012 as a Senior Project Manager in the Corporate Engineering Office of Strauss Israel where he was responsible of projects leading and implementing of new technologies in the Industrial manufacturing automation field. In 2016 was appointed as a Senior Project Manager at Alpha Strauss Initiative which is responsible for the global technology innovation of the group. In 2018 was appointed as the first Head of industry 4.0 team at the CTO office leading all future manufacturing strategy and tech implementations. Previous to Strauss, gained experience in variety of industrial companies and Startups in the fields: Automotive, Medical, Defense and more. Istaitih holds a MBA degree and a PMP (Project Management Professional) Certificate. Istaitih is a Rescue Diver and a Skipper. Volunteers as the Deputy Commander of the SAR (Search and Rescue) Police diving unit in Israel since 2006.
