Peter Seitel is with MERCK since 1992 and started in the business unit Electronic Chemicals with several functions in product and key account management. From 2000 on, Peter was responsible for different teams in Supply Chain Management Life Science and then for nearly 10 years Director Central Warehousing. During this time, he managed an extreme increase in requirements regarding volumes, quality, and safety. Since 2018 he is leading the Service team of Electronics in Darmstadt. In this function, he is responsible for many functions, starting with production supply, tank farms up to the Distribution of finished materials for Electronics and interface partner of site management. His passion is supply chain since more than 25 years - starting in front of the customer, understanding requirements of the business. Teamwork throughout the process chain, solution-orientated networking with interface partners, inspiring and motivating as teamlead since nearly 20 years. He and his team want to be the chemical partner for new business fields with future oriented technologies like digitalization, to build up a link between new business models and established processes.
